“Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.”

Our mission is to bring healing and violence reduction to the Greater
Hamden, CT community.

Our vision is to create a garden of healing for victims and survivors of
any kind of violence. The garden is being dedicated to the memory of
Elijah Gomez, a 15-year-old African American Hamden High football
student, who was murdered by three men while walking home from
school on the Farmington Canal Trail, a popular recreation trail in
The garden will be used as a place of nature-centric healing and calm
for anyone in the community who seeks it. We intend to use the healing garden as a
platform to produce, host, and support a range of violence reduction and healing programming for the greater Hamden area.

Huge heartfelt thanks to our donors for helping us grow!
