We had a blast hanging out with the Hamden PAL officers and kids on their hike last week at Hamden’s beautiful Brooksvale Park!
PAL is such a wonderful addition to the programs families in Hamden can access. As we mentioned in our previous post about PAL, investing in its inaugural season was a no-brainer. You can read more about that investment here:
The PAL hike took place on a gorgeous, sunny summer afternoon. We were able to learn about the gardens and animals at Brooksvale Park and then hiked into the woods for a nice walk. If you havent visited Brooksvale, here are some pictures of the farm:
