Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting our two large fundraising camapaigns: The Great Give and Birdies for Charity.

These annual fundraisers ensure we are able to offer great events this summer and fall, invest in support for youth in our towns, and dedicate quality time to advancing work on our healing garden design plans. Across the two of these drives we have a lofty goal to raise $20,000. That is more than we have raised in this window of time previously and guess what? We got really close!

During a time when economic uncertaintly and political volatility is high, the energy and support you showed EGH during this time has been appreciated and empowering.

About The Great Give: The Great Give was created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to strengthen nonprofits serving Greater New Haven by advancing knowledge about their work and increasing giving to their organizations. More than $28 million has been raised since The Great Give began. This regional giving campaign allows households to make donations to a wide range of causes they care about in a quick easy platform. The giving drive features prizes and match opportunities, plus in-person and virtual events for donors to connect with charities they enjoy engaging with.

About Birdies for Charity, which operates through the Travelers Golf Championship: Birdies for Charity is a giving platform that utilizes the excitement around the Travelers Championship to help nonprofits across the region raise awareness and funds to support their missions. Thanks to the support of Webster Bank, organizations have the opportunity to receive a 15% bonus on every donation through the program and Travelers covers transaction processing fees ensuring that the full donation goes directly to nonprofits.
