Healing Walk at Lake Wintergreen with Root Life

As we approach the 16th birthday and the first anniversary of the murder of Elijah Gomez, Eli’s Garden of Healing is pleased to offer a healing walk at Lake Wintergreen in Hamden.

This event will be led by Praxis, founder of Root Life. Praxis is an urban farmer with a passion for nature centric healing.

We will be hiking in West Rock State Park starting at Lake Wintergreen and will make our way to the summit where we will spend 45 minutes to an hour participating in a sound healing activity followed by meditative reflection and discussion. We will then proceed to hike back to Lake Wintergreen to end our session. The event will last a total of 3 hours.

Things To Keep In Mind

-This hike will be on a rocky path that has relatively steep slopes. It is recommended that you wear comfortable footwear for the occasion. Hiking boots are a preference for ultimate comfort.

-It is also recommended that you bring water to keep yourself hydrated during our hike. Energy bars, trail mix &/or any other energy snacks are welcome as well.

-Check for weather conditions on the morning of the hike. Having the right gear for the day of the hike will highly impact your level of comfort on the hike.

RAIN DATE: May 21st

Before departing on our healing walk, all participants will be asked to sign hiking and event photography waivers
